Registration Information

Welcome To GLSA’s Program & Registration Information!
GLSA is open and providing full day care for the rest of the 2019-2020 school year and through the summer months.  When the schools announce plans for the 2020-2021 school year we will make plans for how we can best serve our community.   This site will be updated with our plans for the upcoming school year when they are finalized.

GLSA is following the Washington state Department of Health’s guidelines for child cares in response to the Covid-19 crisis.  For more information on that please see the document on the DOH website.

Green Lake School- Age Care Program GLSA) is a state licensed, not-for-profit, socially and emotionally focused program that provides high quality before and after school care and a full day summer camp for children ages 5-12.  Staff are trained in research based communication styles and work in a low 9 to 1 ratio of staff to children to support the social and emotional well-being of the children in our care.

Our monthly curriculum for each of our three classrooms contains projects and activities of the following types:  arts & crafts, cooking, cultural awareness/anti-bias activities, drama, social and emotional skills (SEL) , games, building, math skills, mindfulness, movement, science & writing.

Since we are a SEL focused program we also value the time children spend in free play, learning by interacting with other children and staff.  Staff work to create a home like environment where children feel emotionally supported in learning new social skills and gaining confidence in navigating social environments.

Summer camp is also available!  Please see the summer camp page for more information.

Registration for the 2020-2021 school year
GLSA is full for the upcoming school year.  We are waiting for the schools to announce their plans for the upcoming school year and we will update this site with our plans once they are finalized.

All are Welcome Here!
GLSA is committed to serving a diverse population of children and families.   We value the diversity of our families’ cultural, ethnic and socioeconomic backgrounds and strive to create a program that challenges bias and honors all families’ beliefs and practices.  We will adapt our space so that all children can participate fully.  GLSA does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, creed, religion, gender, age, disability, sexual orientation or economic background.
